D C Norris has been at the forefront of the Food Processing industry for much of its 50 year history, and there are a number of good reasons why. We have experience of supplying to small and large companies globally, an ‘everything built in-house’ philosophy, process and product knowledge, and advanced equipment and software control systems, making DCN the number one choice for food manufacturers large and small.
Nowadays, many enquiries start off with potential clients needing process and technical input from day one rather than simply asking for a quote for a list of equipment.
Our experienced team is unmatched in its depth of process knowledge, and we can help with recipe development utilising our fully equipped Product Development Kitchens in the UK and South Africa, as well advise on suitable equipment based on throughput requirements and shift patterns.
Between the members of our team, we have carried out over 6000 trials on many different pieces of equipment and across a large range of processes including Cook Chill*, Sous Vide, and the Cook Quench and Chill of pasta and vegetables. More recently, we have introduced Braising Bar Systems and Powder Entrainment.
DCN’s recently formed Research & Development Department have developed new equipment which not only reduces process times, but is also more energy efficient and uses less water.
Our sister Company BCH offer additional capacity as well as technical and process resource from their base in Rochdale. They offer additional processes such as Vacuum Cooling and Confectionery lines.
In the modern business climate return on investment is a major factor when determining which equipment partner is the right one. Others may offer equipment that appears similar from the outside, but making the most of capital investment means being able to use it to its greatest potential, DCN can help you achieve this.
If you would like to speak to a member of the team about your processing requirements, please call or email on +44 (0) 1767 677515 / [email protected]
