Addressing Increased Production Demands
Blue Earth Foods experienced a sudden surge in production demand, they needed an immediate solution to scale up their capacity without compromising efficiency or delivery timelines. Faced with the risk of delays due to limited industrial cooking equipment, they turned to the experts at DC Norris for a reliable and innovative resolution.
“We had an unexpected uplift in volume that meant we had to either increase capacity or struggle to deliver,” shared Dave Styler from Blue Earth Foods.
DC Norris were able to assist by offering Blue Earth Foods a refurbished 300-litre steam jacketed kettle complete with Jet Cook technology, an inclined agitator, in-vessel emulsifier and a drop-down valve. This new addition complements their two existing DC Norris industrial kettles.
The additional DC Norris kettle provides Blue Earth Foods with the tools to meet production deadlines while maintaining efficiency and reliability. The integration of new technologies, such as the Jet Cook system will help with energy savings and boost productivity.
In the new year, our Product and Process team will be visiting Blue Earth Foods to assist with training on DC Norris’ Jet Cook system to further optimise the productivity of the cooking kettle.
