DCN Appoints Melvyn Davis as Financial Director

DC Norris; manufacturers of world leading industrial food processing equipment, announced today the appointment of Melvyn Davis as Financial Director as of 1st April 2021.

Melvyn brings to the appointment a wealth of knowledge having previously worked at RSM for 7 years, prior to that he spent eight years working for two major accounting firms having built up and sold his accounting, tax and financial planning business in 2006.

During Melvyn’s time at RSM he was DC Norris’ Financial Consultant and Tax Advisor, and has worked with the Company and their Management Team for over 30 years.

David Norris, Managing Director commented, “We are delighted that Melvyn is joining the DC Norris Group in this newly devised role, he already has in-depth knowledge of the Company and its financial affairs so is able to hit the ground running.   As the Group has expanded and we have taken on more opportunities, it has become necessary to grow the team further, and we are very pleased that Melvyn is a part of this exciting time.”

Melvyn will assist the financial team led by Diane Blundell to look after the various aspects of the Group accounts, with a view to researching suitable investment opportunities to aid continued growth and plans going forward.
