Propak Africa began in earnest yesterday with Stuart Rigby presenting on the main stage of the Expo Hall on ‘How to reduce carbon footprint and maintain high quality products’, which was live streamed.
The response was good and there were plenty of questions afterwards on energy usage, the difficulties of scaling up from trial size batches, fat and salt reductions as well as assistance with process development.
There were enquiries on our booth from the local marketplaces, mainly for products such as Maheu, Mabela and jams and chilli sauces, all of which sit in our key product areas.
We can demonstrate the Jet Cook process to new customers and introduce new products to existing customers using the multitude of product videos we have from all over the world.
The show is now open for Day 2 – we look forward to seeing you on the stand.(Hall 6, J10)
