This week we launched our new Cook Quench Chill ‘Adapt’ System powered with Jet Cook™ Technology. The beauty of the new ‘Adapt’ is the modular design allows manufacturers greater flexibility for expansion, it’s streamlined in construction and is simple to install.
‘Adapt’ has many other new features and benefits including huge water savings, (up to 70% less than similar systems), uses less energy (up to 50%), has ultra-fast heat up times and can be controlled with DCN’s patented Recipe Manager System.
Our first customer trial was with a UK company producing more than 50,000 tons per year of prepared vegetables, rice, noodles, pasta and grains for the UK foodservice, retail and further manufacturing businesses.
We produced a variety of products to fully test the systems flexibility including:
IQF Peas – Starting temperature of -7°C / Heated to 85°C /Cooled to 2.7°C
Result: 100kgs – 6 minutes
Flat Noodles – Cooked to 80°C / Cooled to 3.7°C
Result: 35kg dry/50kg cooked – 14 minutes
Jasmine Rice – Cooked and cooled to 3.9°C
Result: 100kgs dry/240kg cooked – 15 minutes
